What did Henry say?

Henry, one of the hosts of the awards evening, poked fun at the side of his co-host, Reshmin Chowdhury, after Lionel Messi won the Best Men’s award.

The Argentinian wasn’t present at the awards to receive his prize, so Henry offered to claim it on his behalf.

Henry joked that he had never won the award before and so would claim it as his own. He then took a shot at Ange Postecoglou’s side and his co-host.

Why did Henry pick on Tottenham?

A legend of Arsenal Football Club, Henry is no stranger to battling Spurs.

The Gunners and Tottenham are north London rivals, and so banter between the two is to be expected. Henry joined Arsenal in 1999 and spent eight successful years with the team before joining Barcelona in 2007.

As noted by Transfermarkt, he scored 228 goals in 377 appearances for the Gunners. He also notched up 103 assists for the side.

Thierry Henry steals David Beckham’s crisps

Thierry Henry made headlines at a UEFA Champions League game, but it was for his antics off the field, not on it.

The former Arsenal star was spotted next to David Beckham at the game between AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain.

Henry grabbed attention after a video showed him finishing Beckham’s crisps before the game, Sports Brief reported.

Henry names his favourite Messi goal

Thierry Henry has named what he believes is Lionel Messi’s greatest-ever goal, Sports Brief reported.

Picking Messi’s greatest goal is no easy task, as the Argentinian has scored some sublime goals over the years.

Henry, who played alongside Messi at FC Barcelona for three seasons, has now named his favourite strike.
