Martinez is sitting pretty at the top of Serie A's scoring charts, bagging 12 goals for Inter Milan this season.

He has scored in seven out of Inter's 12 matches this campaign, with the game against Salernitana the best of the lot.

He now has scored seven goals in the 2023-24 Serie A season, just five behind Martinez.

3. Victor Osimhen (Napoli, 6)

Osimhen has missed the last four league games for Napoli because of a hamstring injury, but he is still tied for third in the Golden Boot race.

He scored six goals in the defending champions' first eight league matches, including a brace in their opening game against Frosinone.

3. Romelu Lukaku (Roma, 6)

Lukaku is back to his old scoring ways with AS Roma.

He has scored in five out of Roma's 12 league matches this season. He netted once in their games against Empoli, Torino, Frosinone, and Lecce.

He also recorded a brace against Cagliari Calcio, per The Associated Press.

3. Nicolas Gonzalez (Fiorentina, 6)

Gonzalez is another player who is in fine form in Italy this season.

The Argentine star has scored in six out of Fiorentina's 12 league games this season. He scored once in the matches against Genoa, Lecce, Frosinone, Cagliari Calcio, Napoli, and Bologna.

He grabbed a share of third place in the Golden Boot race after scoring the match-winning penalty against Bologna on Matchday 12.

3. Andrea Colpani (Monza, 6)

Colpani also grabbed a share of third place in Serie A's Golden Boot race after scoring a goal in Monza's 1-1 draw with Torino on Matchday 12.
