Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus scored an acrobatic goal for West Ham United in their Premier League game against Brentford at the GTech Community Park.

Kudus' strike cancelled an early opener from Neal Maupay before the Hammers went on to take lead through Jarrod Bowen in the first-half.

The 23-year-old was making only his third start in the Premier League since joining the Hammers in the summer transfer window from Ajax.

In a video shared on social media, Kudus spectacularly volleyed home with a bicycle kick from a Michail Antonio cross.

Kudus came close to adding to his tally after his effort struck the post before Bowen rolled it in for West Ham. The former Ajax midfielder also started an attack which saw Antonio make the miss of the season after he spotted Bowen who laid it on for the Jamaican.

In an explosive start to the game, it was the host who broke the deadlock just 11 minutes into the game following a fine finish from Maupay.

Kudus then equalized eight minutes later with a sensational goal before Bowen netted five minutes later to hand Wes Ham the lead.
