A popular young West Ham United fan, Abel Farey, had no words to describe Mohammed Kudus' performance in the victory against Arsenal on Wednesday night.

The Ghana international scored an exquisite goal as the Hammers dumped Arsenal out of the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 win at the London Olympic Stadium.

Farey, who became an internet sensation during West Ham's European campaign last season, was at the Stadium to support his beloved club.

After the game, the 11-year-old reacted to the performance of the team and was left astounded by the Ghanaian midfielder's goal.

In a video that was shared on social media, Farey described Kudus as a master of the game.

Meanwhile, Kudus is delighted to have played a role in ending a run of three losses over the past week.

"It was a very important victory," he told West Ham TV. “The past week had been very difficult for us, so to win and to win big and for us to get some balls in the net was important.

"Of course, we knew we were playing a very good side, so we knew we had to be tactically disciplined and very strong defensively. You could see we had to defend a lot because they had a lot of the ball, but we were still effective with the part of the ball that we had."

Kudus is enjoying a great start to life in England, scoring four goals across all competitions for the Irons. He netted twice in the Europa League before scoring in the Premier League against Newcastle United.

Kudus scores as West Ham beat Arsenal

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Kudus scored as West Ham defeated Arsenal in the Carabao Cup game at the London Olympic Stadium.

The 23-year-old expertly controlled a long pass from Nayef Aguerd which beat Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko before he cooly slotted home for the Hammers' second of the night.

Ben White gave the hosts an early lead after netting an own goal in the 16th minute.
