  • Los Blancos are apparently moving on from their long pursuit of PSG star Kylian Mbappe
  • Son has five goals in seven matches for Tottenham across all competitions in this season

Real Madrid are reportedly keeping tabs on Tottenham Hotspur attacker, Son Heung-min as the Spanish giants look to strengthen their attack next season.

According to Caught Offside, Real Madrid are closely monitoring Son’s progress at Tottenham and they have already expressed an interest in signing him when the summer transfer window opens.

The 31-year-old forward has stepped up since the departure of Harry Kane, becoming Spurs' target man this season to establish himself as their top scorer with five goals across all competitions.

Son’s current contract with Tottenham runs until 2025 and it remains to be seen whether Real Madrid will decide to make a move for the South Korean forward at the end of the season or not.

Madrid eye move for unsettled Osimhen

Meanwhile, Real Madrid will be one of the destinations Victor Osimhen will consider if the forward decides to leave Napoli following a TikTok incident involving his club, GOAL reports.

The club and their star are currently mired in a scandal after the Serie A team posted a TikTok video of the 24-year-old missing his penalty against Bologna, sparking outrage from fans.

Osimhen's agent has also threatened legal action against Napoli, prompting speculation about the Nigerian star possibly leaving the club he helped lead to the Serie A title last season.

Son surpasses Cristiano Ronaldo’s record

Earlier, Sports Brief reported on Son surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo in EPL goals thanks to a sensational hat-trick against Burnley on September 2.

Spurs did brilliantly to come from a goal down to thrash Vincent Kompany’s side 5-1 and move to second on the log before the international break.

Lyle Foster had given the home side the lead with a lovely finish, but Son inspired Spurs when he restored parity with a chip 12 minutes later.
