Lionel Messi sent fans into a frenzy when he scored a late equalizer against FC Dallas on Sunday.

He was caught on video in disbelief after Messi curled in a free kick from 25 yards out in the 85th minute to tie the Leagues Cup match at 4-4.

The guard put both of his hands on his head after Messi scored the golazo.

Fans reacted to the viral post, saying that everyone loves Messi.

Messi proves he's clutch again

It was a great night for Messi, who scored twice against FC Dallas. He opened the scoring in the sixth minute, firing a long-range strike to give Inter Miami a 1-0 lead.

FC Dallas battled back, taking a 4-2 lead heading into the final 10 minutes of regulation.

Messi wouldn’t let Inter Miami lose, though. Marco Farfan scored an own goal in the 80th minute after he diverted Messi’s set piece into the back of the net.

Messi then showed his flair for the dramatic in the 85th minute, scoring his second free-kick goal in an Inter Miami uniform.

The Herons eventually pulled off the win, beating FC Dallas 5-3 on penalties to advance to the Leagues Cup quarterfinals, per USA Today.

They will next face FC Charlotte in the last 8 with a spot in the semis at stake in their showdown.

Messi is unstoppable

Messi has been on fire since moving to the United States, scoring seven goals in his first four matches for Inter Miami.

He opened his account with a last-gasp freekick against Cruz Azul, before registering doubles against Atlanta United, Orlando City, and FC Dallas in the Leagues Cup.

Inter Miami terminate Marsman's contract

Sports Brief recently reported on Inter Miami terminating the contract of Nick Marsman.

The Dutch goalkeeper questioned the club's signing of Messi months ago.

He made 29 appearances for the Herons since joining the MLS team in 2021.
