Manchester City are still in a celebratory mood after winning their first-ever UEFA Champions League, beating Inter Milan 1-0 to complete the treble.
City joined other European clubs to complete the treble, while Pep Guardiola became the only manager to win it twice, having previously done it in his first season as manager.
Sports Brief looks at six managers to have won the Champions League, domestic league and domestic cup in one season.
1. Pep Guardiola
The Spaniard finally laid his hands on the coveted trophy for Manchester City after seven years in charge. He has dominated English football since he came in 2016, but UCL eluded him, losing the 2021 final to Chelsea.
In his first season as first-team manager, Pep won a treble for FC Barcelona as part of a sextuple-winning season, announcing him to the world as a tactical genius.
2. Sir Alex Ferguson
The first treble-winning manager since UEFA rebranded the European Cup to the Champions League in 1992. Ferguson guided United to beat Arsenal to the Premier title on the final day and beat Newcastle United 2-0 in the FA Cup.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came clutch in the UCL final, scoring a last-minute winner to give the Red Devils a 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich at Camp Nou.
3. Jose Mourinho
The Special One is one of the greatest managers of all time. He announced himself to the world by winning the CL at Porto and was only a domestic cup away from completing the treble in the 2003/04 season.
His triumph came in 2009/10 when he guided Inter Milan to the Italian Serie A title, the Champions League and the Coppa Italia to complete the treble. In an interview with Sky Sports, he described it as the best moment of his career.

5. Hansi Flick
Flick took over Bayern Munich in December 2019 while fifth on the Bundesliga table. He won the title, beat Bayer Leverkusen in the Pokal final and beat Paris Saint-Germain in the CL final. He completed the sextuple by winning the German and UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.
According to Business Standard, he won more trophies (6) than he lost games (5), making it even more remarkable.
6. Luis Enrique
The former player replicated Guardiola’s success at Barcelona with the famous MSN trio. He narrowly beat Real Madrid to the La Liga title in the 2014/15 season and beat Athletic Bilbao 3-1 in the Copa del Rey final. He beat Juventus 3-1 in the UCL final.
