Madrid: No Ancelotti replacement plan

Meanwhile, Real Madrid has yet to make plans to replace veteran Italian manager, Ancelotti at the end of the season, Madrid Universal reports.

The 2022/23 season has been up and down, with the La Liga champions failing to defend their title despite reaching the Copa del Rey final and the Champions League semi-finals.

As of now, everything for the upcoming season is being planned with Ancelotti in charge of Real Madrid, despite reports linking the veteran manager to the vacant Brazil national position.

Brazil gives Ancelotti deadline

Meanwhile, Sports Brief reported on Brazil losing patience with Ancelotti, giving the Real Madrid manager an ultimatum to either accept or reject their offer to become their national team coach.

The five-time world champions have identified the Italian as their preferred option to take over from Tite, who resigned from his position following the Selecao's ousting from the 2022 World Cup.

Ancelotti has publicly stated the Brazilian FA has contacted him about the national job but remains coy about committing his future to the South American giants when the 2022/23 season ends.
