Victor Osimhen is one of the most in-form forwards in the world right now. The Nigerian is helping Napoli cruise to the Serie A title this season, their first in over 30 years.
He has scored 21 league goals and provided four assists to help Partenopei go 19 points clear of second-placed Lazio at the top of the table
He sustained an injury during the international break where Nigeria faced a double header against Guinea Bissau in the AFCON 2024 qualifying series, which they lost one and won the other.

Osimhen gives injury update
The news of Osimhen's injury timeline has sent fear into Neapolitan fans who fear their striker's absence could affect their progress in the UEFA Champions League.
Football Italia reports the striker has provided a positive update on his injury to a Napoli fan David Ruggiero who sent the message and picture to Facebook page Il Napulengo.
The striker told Ruggiero “don't worry, it's just a small thing,” and fans can beam with confidence that their star man would soon be back in action.
Osimhen loses iconic face mask
Sports Brief reported that Victor Osimhen misplaced his face mask while on international duty with Nigeria for the games against Guinea Bissau.
The striker failed to find the back of the net in both games and when he returned to Naples, he found out he was without the iconic mask.
He started wearing the mask after a head injury in November 2021 that forced him to miss the 2022 African Cup of Nations.
