Chris Hughton believes Mohammed Kudus is one of the most gifted players of the new generation of Ghanaian footballers.
The Black Stars coach is amazed by the versatility of the Ajax midfielder following the west Africans' AFCON qualifiers against Angola.
Kudus was not at his best during the two games but his free kick led to the winner in the first leg in Kumasi.

“We are fortunate to have Mohammed Kudus; we all know that. We’ve actually been planning on a few positions and in the last few games, he’s been at the right-hand side,” Hughton told SuperSport, as quoted by Pulse.
Hughton added that whether Kudus was coming off the bench or in a starting role, there was a lot of flexibility in the way he could be played.
“I think he is a player who can play in the attacking midfield. If he could play on either flank, I think he would be better on the right than the left. He is also playing in a strong team that generally has more possession than the opposition.”
The Black Stars were held in Angola to a 1-1 draw and will now need a point in their next game to qualify for the 2023 AFCON tournament in the Ivory Coast.
