  • Moise Kean lasted only 40 seconds before he was sent off during a Serie A clash on Sunday
  • Kean saw red after he wildly kicked AS Roma's defender and goal scorer on the night Gianluca Mancini
  • Juve's Head Coach has blasted the Italian forward for his erratic behaviour

Juventus striker Moise Kean had an evening to forget after he was red carded barely a minute after coming on.

Kean was substituted on by Juventus Head Coach Massimiliano Allegri during their Serie A clash against AS Roma at the Stadio Olimpico on March 5th.

Allegri was desperate for an equaliser after Roma had taken the lead through a Gianluca Mancini rocket of a shot in the second half. The experienced manager withdrew Juan Cuadrado and put on Kean to add more firepower in the 89th minute.

However, in his first act, Kean tangled with Mancini and ended up kicking the goal scorer. Centre referee Fabio Maresca issued a straight red card, and there were no complaints from the Old Lady camp.

Allegri reacts

Allegri cut a frustrated figure as Kean walked past him down the tunnel. Roma held on for the win to move into the top four after AC Milan had fumbled against Fiorentina on Saturday.

Speaking after the game, Allegri condemned his striker, with the club said to be considering fining him for his actions.

"Kean was in the wrong tonight. He made a mistake. He apologized, but he was wrong. We must always learn from these things," as quoted by Roma Press.

Juventus' dreams of playing in Europe hit another snag with the defeat as they continue to battle with the 15-point deduction.

Both sides will now turn their attention to European football, with Juventus set to face Freiburg as Mourinho's side play Real Sociedad in the Europa League's round of 16.

Mourinho sees red

Previously, Mourinho threatened to initiate legal proceedings against match officials after he was red carded for the third time this season.

Sports Brief reported that the veteran manager was sent off at the start of the first half during AS Roma's Serie A clash against Cremonese at the Stadio Giovanni Zini on Tuesday evening.

Mourinho was sent off after he argued with the fourth official, Marco Serra. He then took up his position in the stands as he watched his side lose 2-1.

Mourinho was however available for the Juventus clash as he serves a suspended sentence ahead of the hearing this week.
