Fernandes blasts a shot at De Jong

Manchester United spent all summer chasing after Barcelona midfielder Frenkie De Jong, but the Dutch player turned down their offers and opted to stay at Barcelona, as reported by talkSPORT. United fans hold grudges against the midfielder who turned them down, but little is known that the players also feel the same way towards the 25-year-old

Sports Brief reported that United captain Bruno Fernandes sparked a brawl after hitting De Jong with a shot despite the former Ajax man already down on the pitch.

Garnacho mocks Pedri

Sports Brief also reported that youngster Alejandro Garnacho trolled Pedri with a controversial post by replicating his celebration after the match.

The Barcelona midfielder missed the second leg after picking up a hamstring injury in the first leg a week ago, which has ruled him out for a month.

In the same post, the Argentina winger also mocked Barcelona by captioning the image 'the big team passes the round', a dig at the Blaugrana, who have now been eliminated from the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League twice in two years.
