The match of the season thus far in the DStv Premiership unfolded at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Sunday afternoon.
The inconsistent Soweto giants crashed to a 3-2 defeat to Lamontville Golden Arrows at home. This after having taken the lead twice in a helter-skelter, end-to-end encounter during which both teams did not hold back in the search for the three points.
Sifiso Hlanti opened the scoring for the hosts with a smart header from a corner in the eighth minute. Ntsako Makhubela equalised in the first minute of the referee's optional time at the end of the first half after Chiefs went to sleep.
