Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has broken his silence on the discussion he had with the club's Sporting Director Luis Campos.

The Parisians have been on a rough patch of form since the turn of the year, tasting their fourth loss against Monaco over the weekend.

Their recent result, a 3-1 defeat on Saturday, left Campos with a bitter taste in his mouth, hence being reported to having lashed out at the playing body during halftime, per Mirror.

Ahead of PSG's Champions League first-leg encounter with Bayern Munich, Neymar has provided clarity on the discussion which transpired in the dressing room.

"It happened, a little discussion, we didn't agree," the Brazilian playmaker said as quoted by Sportskeeda.

The 31-year-old even made an interesting claim while trying to play down the tension in the PSG dressing room.

"It happens to us every day, but I love them all, it's like with my girlfriend. Football is not just about love, not just friendship.

"There is respect, but it happens to have discussions. We are not used to losing; when there are defeats, of course, that disturbs us. It makes part of the process to improve."

Meanwhile, Neymar has a point to prove to all his doubters as Paris Saint-Germain enters the business phase of the season after the Brazilian’s motivation to succeed was recently questioned.
