  • Cristiano Ronaldo made a bold statement by scoring four goals for Al-Nassr yesterday
  • He crossed the 500 league goals mark, another milestone in a career built around the records
  • He showed his bizarre side by asking an unlikely person to sign his match ball

Cristiano Ronaldo is finally coming alive in the Saudi Pro League weeks after his lucrative move to the Middle East country, which came after his Manchester United contract was terminated.

His first goals in the country came in the Riyadh Season Cup as captain of Al-Nassr Al-Hilal XI, which they lost 5-4 to Paris Saint-Germain.

He scored his first official goal for his club last week from the spot, in the 2-2 draw against Al-Fateh, but yesterday announced himself in a big way by scoring all four goals to dismantle Al Wehda.

Ronaldo asks referee to autograph match ball

The 38-year-old took home the match ball after the majestic display, but before he did, he approached the referee Al-Harbi to sign it for him, as noted by Sport Bible.

The referee graciously did before Ronaldo, all smiles, handed it over to one of his staff to keep as he headed towards the tunnel amidst the crowd.

What Ronaldo said after the match

As noted by Daily Post Nigeria, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner took to his social media pages to celebrate his achievement and the team's victory.

''Great feeling to have scored four goals and reaching my 500th league goal in a very solid win by the team!,'' he wrote on Twitter.

Ronaldo's family explores the desert

Before the match yesterday, Ronaldo's family took time to explore the desert, as earlier reported by Sports Brief. Georgina Rodriguez and the children were pictured feeling up the sand of the desert.

The moment of enjoyment proved to have freed Ronaldo's mind as he struck four goals after the family moment, taking his league tally to five goals.

Teammate accuses Ronaldo of difficulty

Sports Brief earlier reported a teammate accused Ronaldo of making matches difficult for Al-Nassr with his presence in the team.

He acknowledged the motivation the former Real Madrid star brings into the team but feels it charges up their opponents to prepare even better for games.

Maybe he has a different idea now that the man himself has sent a statement to opponents he is in town, and no extra preparation can stop him.
