Former England international Jermain Defoe has ditched a lady Donna-Louise and returned to his estranged wife Donna.

It was gathered that the 40-year-old dumped his 34-year-old girlfriend and their dog, leaving her heartbroken.

Findings have it that the pair were fond of the pet Chow Chow dog called Kai Lion Defoe, which has its own Instagram account.

SunSport reports that photos of the former Tottenham striker with the dog are still on his social media profile.

One of the pictures showed him petting Kai in May 2021, which was barely three months before he proposed to his now estranged wife, Donna Tierney.

Both ladies are based in Glasgow, a town where Defoe played for Rangers at the time.

A source said of Defoe’s split from Donna-Louise:

“It was a really bad time in her life. She loved Jermain and it hit her for six.

“It was a bitter pill for Donna-Louise to swallow, but she’s moved on from Jermain now.”The Sun on Sunday told last week how Defoe had shacked up with influencer Alisha LeMay, 31, following his split from “wife” Donna."

Findings have it that no record of Defoe’s marriage to her at the local register office.
