Rashford has been in red-hot form, scoring in his last nine games across all competitions for the Red Devils. The English striker performed his trademark celebration after scoring the winner against Manchester City in the Manchester derby.

The in-form forward first displayed his new jubilation after coming off the bench to score the winner in the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers. Rashford, who was set to start that game, was relegated to the bench over disciplinary reasons.

The gesture is believed to be a response to his punishment and he has since kept it as his new form of celebration.

Other players across Europe, including Danny Welbeck has been sighted performing the new move.

Semenyo scores for Bristol City

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo scored for the second game running to force an FA Cup third round replay against Swansea City.

The Ghanaian international scored late as the Robbins avoided elimination from the Cup competition.

Semenyo has been Bristol City's main man in 2023, scoring all of the club's goals in the new year.

Semenyo makes Black Stars debut

Bristol City forward Antoine Semenyo made his debut in Ghana's 3-0 win over Madagascar in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Wednesday.

The 22-year-old was introduced in the 75th minute for AS Roma youngster Felix Afena-Gyan who got his debut goal for the Black Stars.

The London-born attacker had little time to show his full potential but was very mobile on the pitch within the few minutes he played.
