Meanwhile, an old photo of Ronaldo clad in an Aladdin-like outfit has been making the rounds on social media, with a number of users making a mockery of him, Daily Mail reports.

Some of the comments online:

@mehulFCbarca wrote:

"From competing against Messi to being a clown in front of Arabs for 200m."

@9StrikingViking savagely added:

"No way Saudi hired a 200M Aladdin cosplayer to serve them tea."

Another user @LiamRhythms believes:

"Ronaldo has become a clown for 200m, that makes him the highest-paid clown in the world."

An avid Lionel Messi fan @Messsiesque mocked Ronaldo:

"Went from wanting to retire with dignity to being an Aladin for Saudi."

@sinsilog2 taunted Ronaldo by writing:

"Now he has more Aladdin d’Or than Messi."

Ronaldo acquires home in Riyadh

Photos of the luxurious apartment in Riyadh, which will be home to Ronaldo and his family, have emerged, Sports Brief has reported.

The 37-year-old has been given a rapturous welcome in Saudi Arabia, after signing a two-year deal worth £175-million with Al-Nassr.

According to Marca, Ronaldo and his loved ones have found a spectacular apartment to stay in during their two years in the Saudi capital.

Ronaldo blamed for Aboubakar exit

Sports Brief also reported that football fans across micro-blogging app, Twitter have expressed their disappointment with Al-Nassr's decision to part ways with Vincent Aboubakar.

Aboubakar, who scored an iconic goal at the 2022 World Cup, was expected to form a lethal partnership with Ronaldo following the latter's move to the Middle East.

However, the supposed partnership has hit a snag, with the Saudi Pro League club opting to part ways with the Cameroon captain to reportedly make room for the Portuguese megastar.
