Former Arsenal striker, Ian Wright believes Arsenal can win the English Premier League this season with a fully fit Thomas Partey.

Arsenal have only lost a game in the English Premier League, and it was against Manchester United without the Ghanaian midfielder.

“But when you look at the team this season, Saka's done it, Partey's done it, Odegaard has done it,” Wright said as quoted by Pulse.

He believes that if these three players manage the difficult task of staying fit, Arsenal has the best chance of winning the EPL crown.

Partey joined Arsenal in the summer of 2020, according to SkySports, but his early days in England were plagued with injuries.

This season however, the former Atletico Madrid star has made 14 appearances in the league and scored two goals for the leaders.

Partey wins goal of the year

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Black Stars midfielder Partey won 2022 best goal, after his efforts in the Premier League for Arsenal.

The Ghana international had two of his goals in the top three strikes for the Gunners in the year under review, with his stunner against Tottenham Hotspurs voted the best.

According to the club, 51 percent of fans voted for his goal against Spurs, beating Granit Xhaka's strike against Manchester United.

Partey meets Arsene Wenger

In an awesome moment for both, Black Stars midfielder Partey met Arsenal's legendary manager, Arsene Wenger.

The Ghanaian star linked up with the French tactician after the Gunners defeated West Ham at the Emirates Stadium on Boxing Day.

Wenger returned to the pitch for the first time since 2018 to watch his former club in action, following the resumption of the English Premier League after the World Cup break.
