Klopp was angry that a foul on Mohamed Salah had not been given, as Liverpool struggled to hold on to a slender 1-0 lead.

Salah helped Liverpool to victory

Salah had put Liverpool ahead against the run of play after leaving Joao Cancelo for dead with a sublime piece of skill. The Reds went on to win the game to make sure they ascended into the top half of the Premier League table.

Klopp now has up until Friday to respond to the charge of improper conduct. He faces a touchline ban or fines if found guilty. Former Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel faced similar charges and was suspended for one game.

FA probes Arsenal versus Liverpool

Sports Brief had earlier reported that the Football Association had confirmed that it is aware that an incident happened during the high-stakes encounter between Arsenal and Liverpool.

The two Premier League giants met on Sunday, October 9, at the Emirates Stadium, where the hosts sent out a real statement of intent with a 3-2 win.

The Gunners have been in superb form this season and after their win against Jurgen Klopp's men, they proved their credentials as title contenders this season.
