In Ethiopia, Eric Kapaito and Bernard Ochieng both featured to help their club Arba Menche to a 2-1 victory over Hawasa Kenema. This was Arba Menche’s first win in five attempts.

Arba Menche opened the scoring through Ashenafi Fida in the 11th minute. Hailu Wondmagegn equalized for Hawasa a few minutes after halftime. Belay Gezahegn confirmed the three points for Arba Menche with ten minutes of play left.

In Finland, Magnus Breitenmoser was handed a start in a game where his AC Oulu side was thrashed 3-0 by KuPS in the Finnish top-flight league.

Magnus was born to a Switzerland father and a Kenyan mother according to Wikipedia. He can therefore turn out for Kenya’s national team, Harambee Stars.
