Super Eagles Star Tipped To Become A Pastor Like Taribo West After Praying For Troost-Ekong On His Birthday

Super Eagles captain William Troost-Ekong celebrated his birthday in camp with the rest of the team as they prepare for the clash against Liberia.
After addressing his teammates in the small party, daniel Akpeyi was called upon to pray for the celebrant and it was a big surprise.
Akpeyi prays for Troost-Ekong
The Kaizer Cheifs goalkeeper was firing powerful prayer points like a pastor while some fans believe he is the next Taribo West in the team, Instagram.
In a short video posted on Instagram, Akpeyi who stood beside Wilfred Ndidi and Kenneth Omeruo led the prayer session.
One fan said:
"Akpeyi na upcoming Taribo West."
Akpeyi was recalled back into the squad since making his last appearance for the national team at the AFCON 2019 tournament in Egypt.
The former Warri Wolves shot-stopper lost his place in the national team to Maduka Okoye and Francis Uzoho.
The 35-year-old has been in goal for Kaizer Chiefs for most parts of last season and helped his team play in the CAF Champions League final where they lost to Al-Ahly in the final.
The team is now set to face the Lone Stars of Liberia in their important World Cup qualifier at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that the journey to the Qatar 2022 World cup will begin for Nigeria as they play their opening group game against Liberia, Sports Mole, Goal.
Gernot Rohr gave a good account of himself when he helped the Super Eagles qualify for the last World Cup in 2018 but failed to live up to expectations as the team crashed out of the first round.
On the other hand, Liberia are yet to make an appearance at the biggest soccer fiesta and the closest they came was when they came second behind Nigeria for the 2002 edition.

Legit.ng also reported that Finidi George has now been appointed as the new coach of Nigerian Professional Football League side Enyimba FC, Soccer Nigeria and Brila FM.
The Super Eagles legend replaced Fatai Osho who helped the People's Elephants finish third at the just-concluded season where Akwa United were crowned champions.
Finidi has been linked with being appointed as an underage coach at the national level where he would discover young talents after getting his badge.
