Match official assaulted during Dakkada FC vs Remo Stars

Only recently, there was pandemonium in Uyo during the Nigeria Professional Football League game between Dakkada FC and Remo Stars in Match-Day 4 of the new season.

Sports Flames reports that some fans took laws into their own hands as they attacked officials of the visiting team during half-time and went further to assault referees after the match ended 1-1.

While both teams headed into the dressing room, no fewer than 10 irate fans were reported to have made their way to meet with the visitors to hand them a stern warning.

At full-time, the match officials were not spared as a clip shows the moment an assistant referee was slapped in the full glare of some Dakkada FC officials.
