Man United stars name experienced manager they want as permanent boss

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Man United players are pushing to have the club appoint Mauricio Pochettino as the permanent manager.

United are currently in the market in search of a substantive manager who will take charge of the club at the end of the ongoing League season.

Pochettino's name has often been floated for the Old Trafford job and was at one time touted as a possible successor to Jose Mourinho before United opted for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

It is understood United's hierarchy holds the Argentine tactician in high regard and are confident they can prise him away from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Sun reports such a move would be fully supported by United players who are desperate to see Pochettino appointed.
