Manchester United have pleaded with French midfielder, Paul Pogba, not to make a final decision on his future until a permanent manager is named at Old Trafford.

The 28-year old midfielder’s contract at Manchester United expires at the end of the season and he is free to enter talks with any team of his choice.

Manchester United have now reportedly asked Paul Pogba and other players who plan on leaving to delay the decision on their future until the club pick a permanent manager the Daily Post reports.

The Red Devils had replaced Ole Gunner Solksjaer with Ralf Ragnick on an interim basis after the Norwegian manager was fired following inconsistent results.

If Pogba decides to leave Manchester United, it will be the second time the Frenchman will be leaving the Old Trafford club on a free after joining Juventus when he was a teenager.

Manchester United put managerial search on hold

Meanwhile, it is believed Manchester United have halted their search for a new manager as it appears the Club’s hierarchy seemed impressed with interim coach Ralf Ragnick.

The Express reports the German tactician is now being considered to be handed for the permanent manager role beyond this season.

Ragnick has guided Manchester United into the top-four by reviving the Red Devil’s campaign for a Champions League place finish.

Date set for Christian Eriksen second EPL debut

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Christian Eriksen is ready make his second Premier League debut against Crystal Palace on Saturday, February 12.

This will be Eriksen's first competitive match since he suffered a cardiac arrest while in action for Denmark during the Euro 2020.

The versatile midfielder sent the world into panic after he fell to the ground in the 43rd minute of the continental tournament against Finland.
