Their captain is Vincent Aboubakar. He was born on 22nd January 1992 in Yaounde, Cameroon. He plays as a striker for the Al-Nassr football club in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Cameroon national football team coach

Antonio Conceicao was named Cameroon coach in 2019, and his contract was extended in 2021. He was born on 6th December 1961 in Maximinos, Portugal. He hopes to lead the team to African glory once more. One of his goals was to improve the squad and look for new talent. He said,

"I'm in regular dialogue with Fecafoot (the Cameroon Football Federation) to extend our work to the youth national teams, to make the best of our experience to for those teams."

He further reiterated that he wanted to make younger Cameroonians abroad proud of playing for their country. He said,

"We've also been reaching out to young Cameroonian players playing abroad that can end up playing for other countries, in order to try to bring them on-board and want to play for Cameroon."
