According to Metro UK, Joshua knocked out Ngannou twice during the fight before he floored him with a stunning right hand in the second round.

This was Ngannou's second boxing match, with his first coming against Fury back in October.

The Cameroonian-French star controversially lost the fight to the self-proclaimed 'The Gypsy King' by split decision.

However, he was totally outclassed by Joshua on Friday night, with blows received leaving him needing oxygen in his corner.

Ngannou has now backed Joshua to beat Fury if the two ever get to the ring together.

The two heavyweights have never fought each other in the past.

However, a match between the duo has heavily been mooted in recent months, with Ngannou contending Joshua would emerge the victor.

"I don’t know, I would give it to AJ for right now," Ngannou told iFL TV when asked who would win in a fight between Fury and Joshua.

Fury is currently tied up with a unification fight against Oleksandr Usyk in May, which includes a rematch clause for a second match in October.

As such, the earliest he can face off against Joshua would be in 2025.
