With the support of university students rallying behind their fellow alumnus, Cadman cleared a height of 2.23m to secure the gold medal, per the African Games, surpassing competitors from Morocco and South Africa.

After triumphantly scaling the bar on his third attempt, Cadman jubilantly performed the 'Siuuu' celebration, signalling victory and sparking euphoria among the spectators.

His gold medal win was celebrated with fervour as the University of Central Missouri final-year student embraced the electrifying atmosphere and shared the moment of triumph with the enthusiastic fans in the stands.

Why Cadman performed Ronaldo's 'Siuuu'

"[Cristiano] Ronaldo has been my idol since childhood. I have been playing like him, scoring goals like him," he disclosed to 3Sports, as quoted by Sports Brief.
"With high jump, anything that comes through your head, you just do it. And he being my idol, I was like, let me just do it [the Siuuu celebration]. And it’s going to get the crowd going.
"There’s no other player that will do a celebration that people will chant on. So I knew that Ronaldo, it will get the crowd cheering."
