Betting on Benetton (+1.5)

Benetton preserved their unbeaten record this season with a narrow 15-10 win over the Lions last Sunday.

Ignatio Mendy starred, scoring a late try to hand the Italian side their second victory of the 2023-24 URC campaign, per SuperSport.

Former All Black international, Malakai Fekitoa also scored a try in the first half for Benetton, who moved up to ninth in the URC table with a 2-1-0 record.

The Italians defeated Cardiff Rugby 23-22 in their opening match. They followed that up with a thrilling 13-13 draw against champions Munster in Round 2.

Points were hard to come by in the match between Benetton and the Lions, with both sides' play mostly situated between their respective 22-metre areas.

Betting on the Stormers (-1.5)

Stormers had their two-match winning streak snapped on Saturday with a 20-9 loss to the Glasgow Warriors.

Four more World Cup players returned to the Warriors' squad for this match, and that proved to be the difference in this contest.

The Stormers had difficulty stopping Sione Tuipulotu and Johnny Matthews, who combined for three tries in the first half, per the BBC.

The Stormers dropped to fourth place with 10 points following the loss to Glasgow.

They will look to return to the win column this Saturday when they face Benetton on the road in Italy. The Stormers defeated the side 38-22 in their last meeting back in April.

One guy who needs to step up for the Stormers in this clash is Evan Roos.

He was accused of costing the Stormers the victory in the game against Glasgow after a dangerous clearout on Warriors' Matt Fagerson.

He received a yellow card for that incident, resulting in his temporary suspension.
