Multiple award-winning Nigerian singer, Rema was spotted with American Boxing legend, Floyd Mayweather, in the United Arab Emirates.

The Calm Down hitmaker was in Dubai for the Afroworld show, where he thrilled thousands of fans at the Coca-Cola Arena.

Meanwhile, Mayweather, who is known for his luxurious living after retiring from boxing, was in the Gulf country for personal business.

In a video shared on social media, Rema is seen having some time with the former boxer as they exchanged pleasantries.

Rema has been on an incredible run in the music scene after releasing several hit records in the last three years, earning him a spot in some of the biggest shows in the world.

The talented crooner travelled to Dubai days after his performance at the Dreamville Festival in the United States was affected by some technical issues.

Rema has also performed at some of the biggest sporting events in the world, including at the NBA All-Star Game and the 2023 Ballon d'Or ceremony.

Mayweather retired from Boxing in 2017 after winning 15 major championships from the Super featherweight to the little middleweight divisions. The 1996 Olympic Gold medalist holds an unbeaten record in the sport after 50 professional fights, per Box Rec.

The multi-millionaire has also been involved in several exhibition bouts including the famous fight with Logan Paul.

Rema performs at the Ballon d'Or

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Afrobeats superstar Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema delivered an electric performance at the 2023 Ballon d'Or, held at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris, France on Monday, October 30.

The event was organised by France Football and was filled with several football stars from past and present. The 'Bounce' crooner has performed at various stages this year, including the 2023 NBA All-Stars game.

The talented musician has topped several charts with his hit record, which features American singer, Selena Gomez in the remix, according to a report by TNT Afrika.
