Arella inked a training camp deal with the Seattle Storm on February 6, 2023. Until the end of June of 2023, she was a member of the Storm team and was named to the Opening Night roster. It was on June 29, 2023, that the Storm waived Arella.

Arella was committed to playing for the Lady Raiders of Texas Tech after college. With 9.9 points per game, she was the team's runner-up in scoring and started 27 of the 29 games. The Big 12 also recognized her as their Freshman of the Week on one occasion.

Arella transferred to Rutgers after her first year at Tech. She could not participate in the 2016–17 campaign because of NCAA transfer regulations. She averaged 12.1 points and 4.3 rebounds in her rookie season with the Knights.
