Tkachuk delivers again for Florida

The 25-year-old winger sent Panthers fans into a frenzy when he scored the series-winning goal with just 4.9 seconds remaining in regulation.

It was an incredible performance by Tkachuk, who registered his third game-winning goal of the postseason, per ESPN.

Tkachuk delivered when his team needed him most, scoring twice in Game 4.

The Panthers will be delighted to finish the Hurricanes in four games as they earned several days off before the Stanley Cup Final, which starts on June 3.

Historic sweep for the Panthers

It was the first time that Florida had recorded a sweep in a playoff series. What made this feat so incredible is that the Panthers did it against the Hurricanes, who were the Metropolitan Division champs.

The Panthers gave themselves a chance to sweep the Hurricanes after recording a narrow 1-0 win in Game 3. Monday’s victory was powered by Sergei Bobrovsky, who had a 32-save shutout.

Florida's goalie was spectacular again on Wednesday, recording 36 saves against Carolina, per Yahoo! Sports.

Carolina netminder Frederik Andersen stopped 21 shots to give the Hurricanes a chance at forcing a Game 5.

Unfortunately for Andersen, he wasn’t able to stop Tkachuk’s shot in the dying seconds.

Celtics crush Heat

Sports Brief recently reported on the Celtics forcing a Game 5 against the Heat.

Jayson Tatum, Derrick White, and Jaylen Brown starred for the Boston Celtics in the Game 4 victory.

They combined for 66 points in the win against the Miami Heat.
