Jason was drafted 2nd overall in 1994 by the Dallas Mavericks in 1994 and instantly made an impact as an elite point guard, winning rookie of the year. He moved to Phoenix in 1995 and stayed there until 2001 before joining the New Jersey Nets and reached two consecutive NBA finals, losing to the Lakers and the Spurs, respectively.
