The two-time MVP became the first player in NBA Finals history with at least 30 points, 20 rebounds, and 10 assists in a game. His teammate, Jamal Murray, also registered a triple-double in Game 2. He finished with 34 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds in 44 minutes, per the Athletic.

The Serbian big man also became the first player since Shaquille O’Neal in 2004 with at least 20 points and 20 rebounds in a finals game.

Jokic recently surpassed Wilt Chamberlain (7) for the most triple-doubles in a single postseason with 10. But who has the most triple-doubles in NBA Finals history? It is difficult to dominate a game in the playoffs since so many things are at stake for teams and players.

Sports Brief looks at players with the most triple-doubles in NBA Finals history.

Most triple-doubles in NBA Finals

LeBron James tops the list for obvious reasons. He led his teams to eight straight NBA Finals and was required to perform every night by fans and teammates. He has 11 triple-doubles. Trailing him is Los Angeles Lakers icon Magic Johnson, who has eight.

Johnson retired over two decades ago, but is still in the top two. Golden State Warriors veteran, Draymond Green has three triple-doubles in the NBA Finals.

Jokic has two triple-doubles from only three finals games. He is tied with Jimmy Butler, Larry Bird, Walt Frazier, Bob Cousy, and Bill Russell, who all have two, per Sporting News.
