The comeback is on for the Boston Celtics.

The odds are stacked against the Celtics, as NBA teams who have trailed 0-3 are 0-150 in those series.

They can draw inspiration, however, from NHL and MLB teams who have come back from 0-3 down to win a best-of-seven series.

Sports Brief looks at these miracle teams.

Boston started the miraculous comeback with a thrilling 6-4 win in extra innings in Game 4, per Bleacher Report. The Sox recorded the win after Yankees' closer Mariano Rivera blew the save in the ninth inning.

Boston cut New York’s lead to 3-2 after winning Game 5 at home by a score of 5-4. They then needed 14 innings to record the victory, with David Ortiz delivering the walk-off hit for the second game running. All the momentum was with Boston as the series shifted to New York. The Red Sox evened the series at 3-3 after beating the Yankees 4-2 in Game 6.

The Red Sox completed the stunning comeback with an emphatic 10-3 victory in Game 7 at Yankee Stadium.

Philadelphia Flyers (2010)

The Flyers were the third team in NHL history to overcome a 0-3 series deficit, beating the Boston Bruins in seven games in the 2010 Eastern Conference Semifinals.
