Walker’s star turn was a complete surprise, as Darvin Ham has seldom used him in this year’s playoffs.

There he was, though, on the biggest stage, knocking down the clutch baskets that helped the Lakers move within a win of the Western Conference Finals.

Walker has been a revelation for the Lakers in their last three playoff games, scoring 36 points against the Warriors, per ESPN.

Fans pay tribute to Walker

Fans took to social media to pay tribute to Walker after his spectacular performance in Game 4.

The phrase ‘Lonnie Walker is him’ became a trending topic on social media following his fourth-quarter masterclass in Game 4.

Fans loved the scene when LeBron James and Anthony Davis showed love to Walker after the game.

Fans also noted that Walker made history with his explosion in the fourth quarter.

He joined legends Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Shaquille O’Neal, and Pau Gasol as the only Laker players since 1997 to score at least 15 points in the fourth quarter of a playoff game.

Walker and Bryant will forever be linked together as they are the only Lakers since 1997 to accomplish that scoring feat while coming off the bench.

Suns even series with Nuggets

Sports Brief recently reported on the Suns' win over the Nuggets in Game 4 of their series.

Kevin Durant and Devin Booker each scored 36 points to lead Phoenix to a 129-124 victory.

They will head to Denver for Game 5 with the series tied at 2-2.
