Fans praise Davis and James
Fans paid tribute to Anthony Davis after the game. He was fantastic in the series opener, registering a monster double-double with 30 points and 23 rebounds.
Davis shot 11 of 19 from the field and had five assists and four blocks, per Yahoo! Sports.
Fans also praised LeBron James for his performance in Game 1. He scored 22 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out four assists in the Lakers’ win.
One of LeBron's big defensive plays came during the fourth quarter when the Warriors were making their late run. He blocked Steph Curry's layup attempt with 4:51 left to preserve the Lakers' eight-point lead at that stage.
Fans lauded James for his defensive gem against his fellow superstar.
Curry wasn't demoralized with that failed offensive possession. The Warriors kept chipping away on the Lakers' lead and finally equalized with Curry's deep 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter.
