Steph Curry added to his playoff legend on Sunday, scoring 50 points in Game 7 against the Sacramento Kings.
He delivered a performance for the ages to lead the Golden State Warriors to the Western Conference semifinals.

1. Steph Curry (50 points, 2023)
The Warriors star now holds the record for most points scored in a Game 7, following Sunday’s performance.

Curry’s explosion against the Kings is the first 50-point outing in any Game 7 in the history of the playoffs.
He torched the Kings in the winner-take-all contest, shooting 20 of 38 from the field, including 7 of 18 from beyond the arc.
Curry did most of his damage in the second half, scoring 30 of his 50 points in the final two quarters.
2. Kevin Durant (48 points, 2021)
Curry broke the record held by former Warriors teammate Kevin Durant for most points in a Game 7 in NBA history.
Durant scored 48 points against the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2021 Eastern Conference semifinals, per NBC Sports.
His scoring performance went for naught as the Brooklyn Nets suffered a heartbreaking 115-111 loss.
3. Sam Jones (47 points, 1963)
Jones dropped 47 points against the Cincinnati Royals in Game 7 of the 1963 Eastern Division Finals.

NBAHe shot 18 of 27 from the field and made 11 of his 12 free throws in Boston’s 142-131 win.
3. Dominique Wilkins (47 points, 1988)
Dominique Wilkins and Larry Bird made Game 7 of the 1988 Eastern Conference Semifinals between the Atlanta Hawks and Boston Celtics one of the greatest games in NBA history.
Wilkins and Bird produced incredible scoring performances in that winner-take-all contest.
Wilkins finished with 47 points, shooting 19 of 23 from the field. It still wasn’t enough to overcome the Celtics, who won 118-116 behind Larry Bird’s 34-point performance.
5. Luka Doncic (46 points, 2021)
Doncic tried his hardest to carry the Dallas Mavericks in Game 7 of their first-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers in 2021.
He scored 46 points and dished out 14 assists in the winner-take-all contest. The Slovenian’s performance wasn’t enough to overcome the Clippers, who recorded a 126-111 win.

NBA5. Kevin Johnson (46 points, 1995)
Doncic wasn’t the first player to record at least 45 points and 10 assists in a Game 7.
That honor belongs to Johnson, who recorded 46 points and 10 dimes for the Phoenix Suns in Game 7 of the 1995 Western Conference Semifinals against the Houston Rockets.
Johnson’s heroics went for naught, though, as the Suns suffered a gut-wrenching 115-114 defeat.
