The Warriors defeated the Lakers 123-109 in their first meeting on October 18, per ESPN. Curry and James put on a show on Opening Night, scoring 33 and 31 points, respectively.

The Lakers gained some revenge when they squared off with the Warriors on February 11, with Los Angeles pulling off a 109-103 victory.

The Lakers replicated that feat on February 23, defeating the Warriors 124-111 at Crypto.com Arena. LA then won the season series when they edged past the Warriors 113-105 on March 5. 

Key players for the Warriors 

All eyes will be on Curry as the Warriors begin their semifinal showdown against the Lakers this coming Tuesday. He willed Golden State to victory against Sacramento in Game 7, scoring 50 points in the series clincher.

Curry averaged 30.0 points, 6.5 assists, and 4.0 rebounds in two meetings with the Lakers this season.

Klay Thompson also posted solid numbers against Los Angeles this campaign, averaging 19.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in four games.

For the Lakers to advance to the Western Conference Finals, they will need LeBron James and Anthony Davis to play outstanding basketball.

The Lakers duo wreaked havoc in the first-round series against the Grizzlies. James averaged 22.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists, and 1.3 blocks per game in the playoff series against Memphis.

Davis also stuffed the stat sheet in that series, averaging 20.8 points, 13.7 rebounds, 4.3 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game against the Grizzlies. They will look to do the same in the upcoming series against the Warriors.

James loves playing against Golden State in the playoffs, averaging 33.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 9.3 assists in 22 career postseason meetings.

Davis posted solid numbers against the Warriors this season, averaging 22.8 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 2.0 blocks in four games.
