NBA All-Star Draft format

Sports Brief recently reported on the changes made to the 2023 NBA All-Star Draft format.

Instead of the starters being picked first by James and Antetokounmpo, the reserves will be the ones chosen first for Team LeBron and Team Giannis.

The league decided to implement the change to avoid embarrassment for the last player picked. This year's All-Star Draft will be done live on stage at Vivint Arena just before tip-off on Sunday.
