The 72nd NBA All-Star Weekend is here. The event will be held at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City. For the first time, rosters will be selected just before the game by captains Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James.
The NBA announced that Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and producer Burna Boy, 2023 GRAMMY Award-winner singer Tems and rapper and singer Rema, will perform at halftime of the event in an Afrobeat-focused set.
The all-star line-up of artists includes Post Malone, who will hit the stage to perform a medley of his top songs. Fast and Furious superstar Vin Diesel will host the night, announcing the game's players.
Utah native Payson and Grammy-nominated artist Jewel will sing the U.S. national anthem, while Jully Black will sing the Canadian national anthem on Sunday, according to the NBA.

Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant are the biggest names set to miss the event with injuries. The two were named as starters in their conferences. New Orleans Pelicans star Zion Williamson was also ruled out of the event with an injury, per ESPN.

Late last year, Burna Boy attended an NBA game pitting the Orlando Magic against 2019 NBA champions Toronto Raptors.
