Butler's absence sparked conversations on social media about star players suddenly missing games because of load management. Fans who paid for tickets and Felipe, who travel thousands of miles to see their favorite players get disappointed when they suddenly learn the same players will not play.

A few days ago, for instance, Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Wiggins all missed Golden State Warriors' clash against Cleveland Cavaliers eliciting extensive arguments about load management.

Butler fulfils dream of young fan

The young fan from Argentina held a sign that read, “Dear Jimmy, we flew over 4,405 miles to see you play. Can we get a photo or a big face coffee?”

He was hoping to see Butler play for the Heat against the Boston Celtics. Although the Heat won the game, his night turned out to be an unfulfilling one, as he never got to see Butler.

However, the Heat came through for the fan. The three-time NBA champions invited the fan courtside, and he was able to meet some players. He also received a ball and a Butler jersey. He also took a courtside picture with Gabe Vincent, per SI. Butler said he was devastated.

"Honestly, I was devastated. I don't want to miss games. I'm glad I did get to meet him, talk to him about it. He's a huge basketball fan. He plays basketball himself. He actually does everything. He skateboards, he surfs. He's an incredible kid so I'm glad we could get to spend some together."
