Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) star, Israel Adesanya, has been spotted training in Enyimba FC's third kit in a viral picture shared on social media.

The former UFC middleweight champion was seen repping his Nigerian roots despite spending most of his life outside the country.

Enyimba FC are the defending champions of the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL) and are currently third on the log this season, four points behind leaders Enugu Rangers.

Adesanya took to his official page on X (formerly known as Twitter) to share a picture of him training in the iconic Enyimba away jersey, which was accompanied by a lovely caption.

"Soaring to new heights...pray you keep up the pace," he said on X.

The UFC middleweight fighter is also sponsored by Stake, just like Enyimba, which makes it easier for him to don the NPFL side's kit and promote it on his page on social media.

Izzy, as he's fondly called, sparked different reactions from football fans with his post on X.
