JP Kruger Wins Interim Middleweight Title in Dominant Fashion at EFC 103

JP Kruger has finally won gold in the EFC.

A veteran of the African MMA world, Kruger defeated fellow veteran, Conrad Seabi for the EFC’s Interim Middleweight title in the main event of EFC 103.

Tinkerbell needed just one round to get the job done, as he submitted Cage Wise with a brilliant rear-naked choke.

The two fighters started the bout with a brief exchange on the feet before Kruger took the fight to the ground and locked in the submission for the win.

Kruger sets up Michael bout

Tinkerbell will now look to unify the Middleweight title when he takes on the current champion, Luke Michael, later this year.

The champ is recovering from an injury but was present at EFC 103 to witness the interim title fight. He also got into the ring to face off against Kruger after the bout.

Cage Wise calls it quits

During the post-fight interview, Seabi announced he would be retiring. Cage Wise called an end to his career in the EFC with eight wins and five losses.

He added that he would continue to focus on training future champions at his gym, Brothers in Arms.

The main event wasn’t the only must-see bout on the card, as EFC 103 had a bit of everything.

Mark Hulme claims Welterweight gold

Mark Hulme is eyeing a move to the UFC to join his Team CIT teammates, Sports Brief has also reported.

The South African expressed his desire to join Dricus du Plessis and Cameron Saaiman at the MMA titan.

Hulme needed one round to win the EFC's Welterweight belt after beating Ziko Makengele in their bout.
