Tottenham Hotspur are resigning to losing star striker, Harry Kane at the end of the season and have set a huge asking price for other clubs amid interest from Manchester United and clubs elsewhere in Europe.

The England captain is the club's all-time top scorer but is yet to win a trophy in his career, which had fuelled his desire to leave so as not to end his career trophy-less.

Kane's current deal with Spurs is set to expire on June 2024 and to avoid losing him on a free transfer as he approaches the final year of his contract, the North London club are already planning to cash in on the 30-year-old.

According to Times UK, the club will demand £100 million upfront, excluding add-ons from any club who would be interested in signing the England international in the summer.

As reported by Metro UK, Man United manager, Erik ten Hag has made the English skipper a priority target for the club. Napoli's Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen and Portugal striker, Goncalo Ramos are also said to be on the shortlist.

According to Telegraph UK, Daniel Levy rejected a bid from Man City totalling £125 mil for the striker in the summer of 2021. The Citizens moved for Kane's compatriot, Jack Grealish instead.

Athletic UK reported in January that the former Norwich striker was considering a new contract that would see him be the club's highest-paid player with a salary of £400,000 per week, but there seems to have been a U-turn since.

Sports Brief also reported on Liverpool forward, Mohamed Salah appearing to jibe Kane with his comments ahead of becoming the Reds' Premier League all-time top scorer.

The Egyptian, who has practically completed club football at Anfield, said he wants to win more trophies and commented he was not satisfied having records at a small club.

Salah's words have been taken as a deliberate swipe at the Tottenham striker, who is number one on the Spurs goal-scoring chart but has never won a trophy with his club.
