Salah, who scored five goals against Manchester United last season, looks forward to the prospect of getting the goals against the Reds' fiercest rivals on Sunday.

“I want to be the top scorer for Liverpool in the Premier League because, for me, it’s going to be special. It is something I really chase,” he told Sky Sports

He, however, would love more to win trophies with the team as it makes the records even more special because it counts for something.

“As long as we achieve something with the team that is the most important thing for me. I’m happy and proud to break records and lift trophies at a team like Liverpool. I don’t wanna be at a smaller team and be the one that breaks records and that’s it,” he added.
