“Pace is one of his peculiar characteristics. We are talking of an athlete whose top speed sprint is 34/35 Km/h. To reach that and to achieve specific standards he must be well trained.
“In general, the recovery time for these sorts of injuries is five weeks, so the week of the Cremonese clash is crucial.''

Super Eagles Coach Jose Peseiro Clears the Air Over Rumours of Rift With Wilfred Ndidi

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, cleared the air over rumours that Wilfred Ndidi left the camp over other reasons apart from injury.

On Thursday, September 22, Nigeria Football Federation announced that Ndidi has returned to his base in England and will not be part of the friendly vs Algeria.

A Nigerian journalist had alleged that the Leicester City man was at loggerheads with the coach who wanted him to play in the center-back position against the Desert Foxes.

Peseiro maintained that Ndidi was injured and had to leave the camp and returned to England, where he is expected to receive treatment from his club doctors.
