Thierry Henry has named the player he believes is Paris Saint-Germain's greatest of all time following the club's Champions League heartbreak.

The French giants were eliminated from the competition on Tuesday night, May 7, following their 2-0 aggregate defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final.

PSG suffered a 1-0 loss in the first leg of the tie before they lost by a similar scoreline in the reverse leg played at Parc des Princes.

Mats Hummels was the hero for Dortmund, with the defender scoring the decisive goal in the 50th minute.

PSG's elimination all but dented their dream of tasting European glory for the first time in the club's history.

Henry names PSG's GOAT

Speaking after the Tuesday night match, Henry declared Kylian Mbappe PSG's greatest player of all time.

The French giants have had the privilege of having several world-class players turn out for them, including Lionel Messi, Neymar and Ronaldinho.

However, Sportskeeda reports that the former Arsenal forward contends that none of the three comes close to Mbappe in legendary status at Parc des Princes.

"It's not even a discussion. For me, Mbappe, with the impact he had all over the world and what he has been doing, he will go down as the best player for PSG," Henry said.
"He can leave this club with his head held really high. Not everyone can win everywhere, especially the Champions League. The big man played well all his career with PSG," he added.

Henry's claim comes at a time when Mbappe continues to face an uncertain future at PSG.

According to Goal, the French star remains a top target for the La Liga giants ahead of the summer transfer window.

Mbappe's deal with the Luis Enrique-tutored side is set to expire at the end of the ongoing season.

Mbappe storms out of interview

In related news, Sports Brief also reported on Mbappe storming out of an interview after he was questioned about his PSG future.

The former Monaco man, speaking to Movistar Futbol after PSG’s elimination, was asked if he will be supporting Los Blancos in the other semi-final against Bayern Munich tonight.
