Troost-Ekong had admitted that he and his teammates in the national team are under pressure ahead of their clash against Ghana in Abuja on Tuesday, 29 March.
Nigeria who are three-time African champions will host the Black Stars of Ghana in the return leg of their 2022 World Cup play-offs having gotten a goalless draw in the first battle in Kumasi.
In Kumasi, Super Eagles players had the chance to win the encounter, but the likes of Victor Osimhen and Joe Aribo missed some opportunities which could have given Nigeria the win.
Super Eagles fans would also have goalkeeper Francis Uzoho to thank as he made some fantastic saves to deny Ghana from scoring in front of their faithfuls.
According to the reports on Complete Sports and Daily Post, Troost-Ekong explained that all the Super Eagles players will fight hard to get the ticket for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
