Real Madrid have honoured the victims who lost their lives in the tragic stadium disaster in Indonesia.
The Spanish club observed a minute of silence before their La Liga fixture against Osasuna.
The tragedy shocked the sporting world, as at least 125 were killed and over 300 were injured. The chaos ensued when fans invaded the pitch, leading police to fire tear gas to try and disperse them.
Fans tried to flee the stadium as a result, leading to a stampede which then led to the deaths. Two police officers were also killed.

As the football world marked the moment differently, La Liga confirmed that a minute of silence will be held before all games today.
The gesture was well appreciated by Los Blanco fans, who took to social media to thank Madrid for their mark of respect.
